Making Polk County a Cleaner Place
At Polk County Recycling & Beautification,
we believe that actions speak louder than words.
If you are committed to making Polk County a better (cleaner) place,
please consider becoming a volunteer.
Volunteering at the Recycling Center is rewarding, meaningful, and fun!
Volunteers are needed for 2-3 hour shifts every Tuesday and Saturday
at the Polk County Recycling Center.
The job consists of greeting every customer, assisting with their sorting, helping customers unload and lift their recyclables, and keeping the Center clean.
We are also looking for volunteers to help with local area clean-up events. PCRB has joined the Adopt-A-Highway program, adopting a section of Hwy 146 from Schwab City Baptist Church to Forest Spring Subdivision. Our next clean-up will be announced soon.
We welcome anyone that is passionate about recycling and environmental sustainability; that would like to learn more about Polk County Recycling & Beautification and to help us tell the community about all that we do.
