About Us

Polk County Recycling & Beautification is a nonprofit organization that has partnered with Polk County to provide a reliable recycling service for the

residents of East Texas, sustained by grants, donations, and the sale of recyclable materials. The Center can accept single-use plastic bottles, jugs, jars & tubs (clean/no caps),

flattened cardboard, and aluminum & steel "tin" cans.

 

We ask that all materials be relatively clean which will

make them more valuable to our buyers,

helping us to support the program for years to come.

We also ask that materials be separated by plastic, aluminum, steel & cardboard to assist our volunteers.

 

The Center is located at 10311 N Hwy 146, Livingston, TX 77351, at the intersection of Hwy 146 and FM 2665. Our hours for collection are Tuesdays and Saturdays from 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM.

We are looking for volunteers to assist with the collection and sorting of materials. If you would like to volunteer with us, please click here.
