At the Polk County Citizen Collection Station at 10311 N Hwy 146, Livingston, TX 77351;
at the intersection of Hwy 146 and FM 2665, about 9.5 miles south of Hwy 190.

When is the Polk County Recycling Center open?

Tuesdays 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Fridays 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Saturdays 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Hours may be subject to change around holidays.

What type of materials does the Polk County Recycling Center accept?

#1 - #7 plastics - clean & without caps 
Cardboard - clean, dry & flattened
Aluminum Cans - drained
Steel "Tin" Cans - rinsed

Presorting your materials helps our volunteers

is at the Polk County Citizen Collection Station at 416 Onalaska Loop, 77360.

This location accepts:

#1 - #7 plastics - clean & without caps 

Cardboard - clean, dry & flattened

Aluminum Cans - drained

We ask that all items be sorted in advance.

Are there other places we can drop off materials?

YES! We recycle clean & dry grocery bags,  shipping pillows, bubble wrap, and any other plastic film with the recycling triangle with a "2", "4" or "Store Drop Off" logo. We also accept film items with the "How2Recycle" logo.

Are there volunteer opportunities?
